Long-Term Bond ETFs Stocks
Most of these ETFs seek to invest in fixed income securities with durations greater than ten years. The ETFs in this industry have enjoyed a multi-decade rally in the bond market and have offered investors solid annual returns. However, we are a bit more cautious to where bond values may go from here, so investing long term in bonds may carry much more risk than many have been used to. We therefore view this industry as better suited for moderate investors who understand there is growing risk that interest rates may be on the rise at some point.
